Closets in older Houston homes and apartments rarely have enough space, which is why a good dresser or chest of drawers earns its place in the bedroom. A wide dresser gives you a surface for a mirror, a lamp and a few photos, while a tall chest stores just as much on a smaller footprint, a smart choice for tight bedrooms and kids' rooms. This page features dressers and chests we sell individually, including pieces from HappyHomes. If you want a perfect match with your bed, look at our bedroom sets, which typically bundle a dresser, mirror and nightstand. Before ordering, measure the wall and make sure drawers can open fully without hitting the bed. In-stock dressers and chests can be delivered the same day from our Spring Branch warehouse to homes across the Houston area, with first-floor (ground level) delivery. Lease-to-own options are available if you are buying a full room. Read more
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between a dresser and a chest?
A dresser is wide and low, usually with two columns of drawers. A chest is tall and narrow, offering similar storage on a smaller footprint.
Can you deliver a dresser upstairs?
Our delivery is to the first floor (ground level) only, so plan to have help moving a dresser upstairs. Taking the drawers out first makes it lighter and easier to carry.
